I usually never write any reviews, but this time Im gonna make an exception and i'll explain why. I got an mini ipad, but i wasn't able to find any good program to reproduce my "avi" movie colection till i find this one. It really took me a lot of time after try and error since all programs won't reproduce audio format AC3 and CC3 I think, and some of all the programs i tryed came with some kind of failure, like no audio, no image on my ipple tv, no subtitle support etc. I tryed programs like: Moli player G player !safe play Ace player O player hd imedia player Flex player Playable Among some others i don't recall, but none of them were working properly, so I plenty recomend this one since works like a charm and took me a lot of time find the right one. I hope this can save u time if you are looking for the best video player. I'm doing this because before downloading this app, i was looking for reviews of it, you know, just like you are now, and found that there is only one single review and says that this app is no good. Well, Im here to tell you this is the best app by far, and this app with all it's genious programers behind, deserves more than that. Note. The only small problem i found is that the subtitles displayed on my tv from my apple tv, streaming from my mini ipad, are way to small, and the scale under "settings" wont give any other bigger size opcion, other that that... Best app ever :)
Too many ads, not support iphone 5's screen....
Won't show images, play videos or audio files from my DLNA/UPNP server. I have multiple other devices in my home that will. The free version of media:connect works as well so it is definitely this app that is to blame. If your getting this app to stream from your media server you will be wasting your money.

i tried many of the(free)apps to play hd and specially mkv files..it plays almost every format and with subtitles..thats great
Doesn't show movies from XBMC UPNP server.
I don't usually use ad supported apps. I will keep this for the hi quality of the video player. I will upgrade to the full version when they add browser support or some sort of local wifi interface.
