Much easier to get a sense of FCPX than from books. Kind of like having an expert down the hall.
Good stuff
I gave it a 4 out of 5, cause I get the feeling that the host is not happy with final cut x. I think if your going to teach people how to work with a product , you've got to sell the product. And don't be disappointed with it.
Simply, if you want an informative video tutorial for FCP X, then this is what you're looking for. My only criticism, not a complaint, is that the video lags the audio by just a hair. Not a big deal, but I found it ironic for a video editing tutorial..
Well I guess it would be a cool app if he really got into detail about the software. So I'm not impressed at all, but what I will say for those that don't know FCX this could be where you MIGHT want to start!!!!!
Would be better if they included the features added in 10.0.3 and above
I'm a new FCP user and this series of tutorials hit the mark each and every time. It is well laid out by chapters and sub chapters that makes it easy to navigate as well as look for the "how to" solution easily and quickly. With this app my first attempt at a high quality music video was a huge success. Thanks!!!
I have to say that I didn't have high expectations going in but it couldn't have been a better app for me. I'm almost complete and have to say that I learn something every chapter. I'm a noob so if you already have experience it may not be as beneficial. Regardless this is the first app I've ever rated 5 stars.
When I nail my Oscar for editing, these guys will get honorable mention! Just don't hold them to that 'you'll be a FCP master in 3 hours'.
Even when I already know all this stuff I will recommend this app to any newbe out there. The guy who said that who made this app was smoking good stuff, hummm it looks like he never got a join in his hands.
Very thorough, lots of details. It covers the basics but also dives deep into Final Cut Pro. If you feel comfortable with FCP and want to learn some great tips to add to your knowledge this is the app for you.
It may be a lil bit pricey but this app really is quite helpful for anyone wanting to dive into video editing. I will admit you might need a background on video vocab to understand things. Worth it for the most part
This guy must have been smoking the good stuff when he made this. Horrible on screen representation of himself and the content is not very great. I just need to know the bells and whistles for Apple certification and this was no help. Is you need to pass the Apple exam: I recommend the corse on rippletraining.com much better.
High level stuff only.. Not worth the space on my iPhone
