It worked for me although I can really do without the crashes.

I'm not if it's that much more convenient than nextmuni.com. The "nearby" tab isn't that great since it doesn't just pop up info about the nearest stop. Also whenever I swipe across a table view cell in the Favorites tab, it crashes

I tried this, MobileMuni, Muni+ and Routesy. this is a good app but MobileMuni is definitely faster and easier to use

Glitchy. App creator is non responsive.

Should show constant LIVE updates, instead of refreshes.

You know you have a great product when you can't say what you would do to improve it. I love the nearby feature. If you are in a strange neighborhood, you can easily find the closest bus stop. I only wish that they would expand this app to other cities like NYC or LA.

i use this app a lot when timing my walk to the bus stop. if only i can give muni 5 stars, lol!

I've been relying on pm for a while now and figured I should put in a review. I'm very pleased with the app. Nearby stops works great. Very useful app.

I love this app. Pocket Muni gives me accurate bus arrival times for all my frequently used routes. With location services on, PocketMuni loads my favorite stops closest to me. If I'm in an unfamiliar area, PM will show me the closest muni lines and arrival times. It's basically Nextbus in your hands. This is perfect for everyone living/working in SF or visitors who know the bus they need, and just need help finding the stop location.

Always loved this app but it stopped giving time predictions after day light savings.

Worth buying for the real time arrival updates, which are generally accurate. It would be GREATLY enhanced by the addition of a trip planner. The Map app's trip planner does not take real time arrivals into consideration.

More accurate and more useful than built maps app! Been using iPhone app for months and love it. Just realized there is iPad version, installed and stoked on it.

Instead you have to find the shortest route by trial and error.

PocketMuni has matured into a robust and extremely useful app, and it's one of my most frequently used tools. The author is very responsive, and thoughtful in his very responses to email. Definitely worth the purchase.

App does not update. It use to be my only map used when in SF, but know the app does not work.

No search Seems like a good app I don't know I don't live in sf but I take Bart to the city and would like to do a search say to the sf zoo from somewhere Or if I'm there and want to go someplace on the muni I can't search Would not buy again

I have tried routesy pro and i. Commute SF and find this app the best designed. I am able to obtain the quickest location-based results with this app compared to the others.

I've been using this app for a while, and it's great. iPad support a big plus too.

I was a real 'car guy' (well...still am a little) but now I live downtown it often makes more sense to take Muni, especially when it is so easy to get routing and timing information. I've been using Nextbus for years but this app takes it to another level, especially on iPad. Nice work!

Used to work great but now it crashes before it will even open. Not sure what happened but I hope it gets fixed!

This is the best muni app out there. When I have reported a problem, it gets fixed quickly. I very much recommend this app for people who use the muni frequently!!!

It's a dead app

One small oversight that lost a star: When routes are accessed from Favorites, the Map button (the most useful screen in the app) is not there, leaving me to go back and dig through the full list of routes to get a map. Would be killer if this also built on transit directions from Google maps.

Love it! I have used this APP for almost a year on my 3G and it's been great! after upgrading to the 4s it was working fine for about 10 days then it started to crash. I reloaded and it was still crashing. I emailed the Gilad a few times and now it's working just fine. Great App and great service.

My app is still crashing. Any advice how to fix it?

Fantastic app and easy to use. Anyone who relies solely on public transportation in the city (and there are many of you) must have this.

Last version was useless as a dollar bill at the MUNI turnstile, but looks like it's finally stable and working again without the awful crashing. This is a great little app, could use some GUI improvements such as showing WHAT line(s) and direction that simple star represents without having to try and tap on it. Otherwise quite worth a couple bucks.

Updated the app again and it's crashing still!!!! Come on guys get it together!!!

This app used to crash on launch but now it works fine. This is the best MUNI app out there. I highly recommend downloading it.

Pocket MUNI is a great app. I've been using it since I moved to SF a few months ago and it beats the others. While it had some issues for a few days this month Gilad got on it and fixed the problem.

I emailed them a couple days ago and told them about the crashes. They emailed back immediately and said that the update will be up soon. Well, all the bugs age definitely fixed now and the app works properly. Other than that this app does not have any problems and answers all my needs. Worth the money.

I give this app a 4 star because even though lately its been bugging its still pretty accurate when it was working well. Hopefully with this update it will be better. You guys should add Bart train support because I have to have 2 apps now & the other does a pretty good job with muni also

Looks like the fix worked! I love this app!

Garbage. As a random number generator, this app is moderately useful. As an accurate barometer of when the next MUNI train or bus will arrive, it's valueless. Occasionally, it will be correct within a minute or two, but more often than not--especially during off-hours (i.e.--early morning or late night) on frequently-traveled lines (i.e.--the J and N)--you'll "see" four or five invisible trains go by, according to Pocket MUNI's predictions. Utterly useless when you need it the most, this is a waste of money. Accuracy--or at least a ballpark estimate--is all I'm asking for. Pocket MUNI fails at even getting close. Thumbs down. Avoid. MUNI fail. Fail. Fail. Fail.

They fixed it! It is the best MUNI app, shows you were the bus is along the route on most of the routes!

This is a great ap. for using MUNI in San Francisco. I'm really relieved it's back in good working order as I rely on it heavily for my transportation needs!

As others have said, was the best app I owned now it's useless, please fix it!

Was a great app...was! It's horrible now if it works at all. Better see a new version soon. DO NOT BUY THIS APP! I'm sure if they fix it, you'll start seeing better reviews. I hope they fix it. It was something I used several times a day.

But with the new OS doesn't work at all. A fix will give this 4 stars.

This app crashes constantly. Won't stay open. Used to work, now it's awful. Don't buy until its fixed.

I emailed to let them know there was a problem. No response or acknowledgement that they are even working on it. Please please fix this app. It was the best app for muni schedules, by far. At least let us know that you're making an attempt to fix it?!? Should we give up on you???

After the routes were last updated it crashes everytime. Sounds like this is universal.

This app used to be a tool I used daily for my commute - for almost 2 years! But with the last update, it no longer gives me the times of the next buses which is the entire point of the app. I'm definitely on the hunt for an alternative app, which shouldn't be hard to find.

I've used this app for a couple of years now and it has been very useful. I've tolerated its bugs and crashes because there were few options. Now there are far superior apps out there and I can finally delete this one from my iPhone.
