Ok just too much wrong wish google would just come with an app for their music

This is app is full of many great features. Helps you take advantage of the great Google Music service. If you have an Apple TV album art looks beautiful on the TV. I gave it 3 stars because it's a bit buggy and crashes on occasion. It is worth being patient with the very hard working developer for all the great features that are included in this App!

It gets a lot of updates they just don't seem to help, better to save the website to the homescreen.

This app used to be great until the updates were released. It crashes constantly and if its not crashing, it's full of bugs. When my songs actually play they will randomly stop and start up again or skip to other tracks. And that is when they actually play. Most of the time using this app is spent trying to listen to music. I usually end up so frustrated that just turn the app off and let go of any hope I had of hearing music. FIX YOUR PRODUCT!!!!

This is a great app and I constantly get new features. I have had this app for months and recently all problems with crashing have been fixed. It has iPhone 5 support, and I see new features all the time! second update updated this app a few days ago and love the new UI

This app is horrible. I haven't been able to get it to work on my phone for months now. It has had tons of updates and nothing really has been fixed. Totally not worth downloading.

best google music app for iOS

Originally i rated this app 5 Stars. Upgraded to version 5.2.1 and it does not work consistently. Songs periodically stop playing and I can't get the player to play anything else afterward

All the issues that I had with this app such as genre shuffling and speed have been resolved with the last two updates. Outside of the occasional failure to play on launch (which is fixed by re-launching the app) I can't find much else wrong with this app. It's not perfect but I'm changing my original 2 star rating to 4 stars.

This is a good app. I just wish that you could use radio.

Many major bugs fixed since last update, but now won't play last song in a playlist, nor save songs when set to do so. Frequently crashes, making the app totally unusable.

I will be asking for a refund. The app simply doesn't work. It cannot play anything from my google account. Avoid this app and save yourself some grief...

Doesn't work with the Google Music subscription service (which isn't clear in the description) so can't really do anything unless you're trying to play a track you personally uploaded/own. Will try again and re-rate if it gets updated.

When will the Google Music All Access update come out? This app is useless and won't play anything

Every time I install an update gmusic stops loading. This is extremely frustrating as I use this app for teaching yoga classes. I was not able to get gmusic to load this morning. Please help!

When it works, it's wonderful. But the problem is that it almost never works correctly. Some recent bugs I've noticed: 1. It still constantly crashes and freezes, despite many updates to supposedly fix this 2. The "Artist" list under the library is almost never correct, which leads to having to reload the database, which in turn leads to the "Artist" list getting messed up even more. 3. In addition to this problem, the database reload is very slow and buggy. It always takes multiple tries for the database to load all of my music. 4. The app overall is very slow and nonresponsive. 5. The refresh feature is almost completely useless, and I'm pretty sure it's just put there for show. Whenever I try to refresh my "Artist" list after adding a new song to my library, the feature never works, which leads me to try reloading the database (see above) I'm not sure if the developers know how to code already, or if they're just learning as they go along. It's a shame that Google has not made an iPhone app for this, apart from their somehow worse web app. It would be nice to have a set of developers who actually work with Google Play itself. Until that day however, this app will, by some miracle, unfortunately remain the best of a bunch of terrible options.

I've paid for more Google Music apps than I would like to admit, and gMusic handily destroys them all. It's everything you'd expect from an official Google app and more. I'm just sorry it took me so long to find it.

Does not work with google "All Access" Music Subscription.

This app stopped working after Google's big Google Music update.

This app is RIDDLED with problems. First and most obviously is the amount it crashes. Really difficult to fully use a product that has such a problem even staying open. Second is that it doesn't show all of your music, some songs will mysteriously be absent while others from the same album are there. Third is that when you do add new music to your google music account, you won't see it. I haven't been able to see newer music until I "refresh library" which will make the app unusable for a seriously long time (HOURS). Fourth, when jumping around music, it will simply push the song you clicked on to the top of some magical queue, and then continue on its merry way. Lets say you navigate to an artist that you have 4 albums of, and you want to listen to the third album start to finish. Since you're in the Artist section, it will play the first song of the album you want, and then play the first song of the first album, continue through the first album, then the second album, then jump to the 2nd song of the third album since you already heard the first track. Baffling. Frustrating. Last, it loves to split one album into a million albums. An album of a dozen songs, all with the same artist, can sometimes show up as three, four, or even more albums for some god forsaken reason. Stay away and don't waste your money. I have to give it one star, but it doesn't even deserve that.

Maybe they wanted an app to get worse by every update, who knows?dont be so quick to judge. In that case they deserve 5 stars. Crashes when you Go to offline mode often. The little wheel where you can select more album tracks, etc is completely useless, just hides the wheel when you click on it. Only thing that can be pressed is the menu to make a track go offline.

Thought new update would fix it.... Crashes even faster now....

Please fix the bugs, the playlist do not work properly at all. Playlist are the only reason to use this app.

I've used this app for a while. Most of the versions that roll out run pretty well. It'll crash occasionally, but nowadays it's not often enough to make me fussy (and I get fussy easier, so that's high praise in my book). I'd definitely recommend it, especially considering 1) the price, so affordable!, and 2) the developer is SUPER quick to address issues and roll out fixes... very professional!

Edit: I origionally rated this app 1 star for it being so unreliable. Since then, this developer has released multiple updates, has seemed to respond to feedback given, and has improved on its stability greatly. There are still a few hiccups here and there on an iPhone 4, but over all it has been a much more pleasureable experiance than previous versions. Features/bells & whistles are only part of what makes and app great, but what makes and app stand out is developer response. Responding to feeback and fixing bugs is vastly more important to me than pushing out more features while leaving old ones broken. Thanks for working to make this app better, you're doing an awesome job. Totally worth my $2. Old Review: This app wasn't all that reliable to begin with, and now it's totally dead. Last update I was able to play 3-4 songs before it decided that it didn't want to work anymore, and now it won't load anything at all. Hate PAYING for buggy apps that don't work... Guess that's what you get for not reading reviews!

By far, best app I have ever gotten. Streaming on 3G isn't always solid, but I use the app nearly every day. Thank you!

This app just gets worse and worse doesn't it. "New crash fixes!" ...install...crash...open app...crash...

Works better than the older version. Still crashes sometimes tho.

Reloaded database and all the artists and albums are gone - deleted and reinstalled fixed it

What was once a good App has since become terrible. Ive been using this app for well over a year and it gets worse with each update. It no longer saves songs even when the setting is set to do so, it plays whatever song it wants, continually repeats songs, etc etc. The list of things wrong with it is endless now. Please go back to square one with this App. It used to work so well.

Forget Rdio, spotiy, iTunes. This app and google plus are it. Don't work for ya? Check your connection speed, learn how to force wifi, learn how to troubleshoot your pretty apple device before you post reviews. Really.

It's been reliable for me, not sure where the negative reviews are coming from

I have found that many songs or albums fail to play correctly. When it works it is great but if I try to start tracks or albums part way through it often freezes up. Also, sometimes I only get the first few songs of an album before it just stops. I am using an iPhone 5 on LTE and wifi and can say that the recent updates have helped but I still experience problems just about every time I use this app.

Streaming from AT&T not great but site is amazing!!!!

I was surprised to see some bad reviews, this app works perfect on my mini and on my iPhone 5. Only problem is streaming on att's "4G" network, what a farce.

If you're checking this app out, you know what this one does. It does its job honestly. Never had any issues. You can even edit info about tracks, not sure if this app has write access to your Google Music data but nonetheless. Even has last.fm scrobbling if that's your thing. Would recommend.

Why soak up your device's memory with music? Easy setup. Music will be added automatically as you acquire it.

I used to get a few force closes but it stop after a update. Music in the cloud. Saves space and enjoy wifi. I would if have it 5 stars but iTunes might get jealous.

I had given up on this app but two recent updates convinced me to fire it up again. It's no better.

Other Google music player apps and the Google music website on Safari all paused the music between songs as if it entered "sleep mode" on my iPhone five. This app allows the music to continue without interruption from song to song. It has crashed on occasion, but otherwise no problems. Great alternative to iTunes match.

Crazy to me that the app asks for my google email address and password (presumably to pass through to google) rather than using something more secure like OAuth, like GoMusic does. I'm sure the app is legit, but who knows?? There's really no reason it needs my credentials. I'm not comfortable with that, so I returned it.

Each update seems to fix one thing and break another. For my iPhone it's too frustrating to open up. Please get it together.

When I first go this app, it was the best music app, hands down. Now I'm lucky to get the music play. It constantly crashes; it won't say what song is playing; it won't load the next song; even though I'm gmail music is organized, it does not show up organized in the app. It really went down hill. I'm sure it will get fixed but for now, it's not what it used to be.

Disappointingly glitchy

Bugs make it so songs don't play what they're supposed to, instead Song A will play Song B

Simply the best

This last update made this app work very slow and poorly on my phone and iPad. I click on an artist and it shows me none of their albums to play. I added new albums and they can't be found half the time. I play an album or playlist and the que jumps all over the place like its on shuffle even when I have shuffle turned off. NEW UPDDATE NOW PLEASE THIS IS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE
