The game is a classic with the fun twist they promised, which makes every game exciting. The occasional ads that pop up and interrupt and sometimes intercept your moves are the only draw backs.

Every time you log on it shows you a ad and every time you hit a ship there's ads just lower the ad rate or something.

Entirely too many ads. Crashes quite often as well

My 8 and 10 year olds loved it. I was watching them play when a Meth ad came on showing a teenager prostituting herself for meth. No way to filter ads to be age appropriate. Sure adults play but its also a child's game. My board version didn't come with a meth ad, neither should my phone app.

Too many pop up adds. Plus I'd like to play against other traditional fleets not aliens. The iPad version allows battling other traditional fleets. The iPad version has so much better graphics and options. It allows several types of attack modes.

It's cool game but the wifi search to play in multiplayer wouldn't enable, even I'm in room with wifi, my phone shows wifi on but game wouldn't get wifi. Let me know if fix or not. Thanks

Crashes constantly

Love that I can play with my friends who have a different phone platform! Wish there was a way to play a move then close the app so I can do something quick and come back & pick right where I left off instead of the game getting wiped out as soon as the app is closed. Please Fix!

Could be really good but this has more ads than CBS showing a basketball game. I would much rather pay $2 to have it as free. Seriously, 3 ads pop up in one game?

This is a really fun game. The only annoying thing is that there are a lot of ads during games but other than that This game is worth downloading.

As much fun as the real game I used to play as a kid! Ads are minimal, awesome graphics!!

Why is it when I play my husband via multiplayer over wifi he gets more missal attacks than I do? Two games and both times I was getting 2 hits and he was able to get four or five everytime.

Addictive and fun. A great game for all ages. I'm a girl and I love it. There are occasional crashes for me, but if you go back into the app your game should be saved. Only downside are the ads in between games and such.

This is one of the best battleship games I have seen! Yes, it does have ad galore, but, honestly, it's just a quick tap on the "x" and it's gone. Those people who hate it just for that should get a life. U can spend half a second of ur life exiting an ad to keep a great game and company alive. Also, it's never crashed for me. And I have 2nd generation iPod.

Awesome graphics but annoying ads

Love the game but it keeps shutting down every time one of their ads comes up. And, there is absolutely NO support for this game. It is what it is as bad as it is. It's full of ads and crashes half the time one comes up. Please, everyone rate this one low so maybe someone in the ivory tower at EA Games will finally wake up and fix it!!!

I understand selling some ad space to support free games but these ones are full screen and are often video ads where the "skip" button does not work for at least 5 seconds or more, which would not be so bad if it were not for screeching guitar noises or the like we're not presenting themselves in full volume despite having the game sounds and such turned off. Sometimes the ads seem to be placed in a manner in which the close buttons are hard to hit and you inadvertently goto the advertiser's site which makes me thing that the developers here are scamming advertisers as well by propping up traffic numbers. The overuse of ads themselves warrant the one star but on top of them there is the frequent crashing.

Too many ads. It's one thing to have the roll up ads across the top or bottom but this is like watching a program on huluplus.

It's more about trying to force advertisement in front of you than it is about the game. Game is okay but about every 10 moves or so another advertisement shows up.

The game is good, but crashes way too often to be enjoyable. Would be 4 or 5 stars without the bugs

Since I'm a girl, I am not really into boy games, but battleship is different. Battleship is great, cool, and fun to play! Worth getting, worth playing!

I play it all the time but they can't get the app to play well with the ads. they make it crash nearly every time. so for each ad it gives you, you also get a crash bonus!! very very frustrating.

Pretty good game, were it not for the advertisements that interrupt the game.

Minus the ads I haven't experienced any issues with the game it's fun and passes the time it would be sooo much better with a story mode but for now #awesome

The crashing everyone is complaining about appears to be fixed, runs fine on iPod touch 4th gen. Ads are annoying however.

Crashes all the time. You would think a company like EA would be able to make the app so it wouldn't crash. You know what they say, "perception is everything". One app crashes, the rest are probably the same. I won't be using any other EA apps.

Have not been able to finish a single game. Crashes multiple times per game then the board changes and you can't see any of your previous moves.

Multiplayer always crashes please fix it

This app is amazing, play it at school all the time with my friends, just the fact that its Bluetooth or wifi and even pass and play, makes this app fun to use anywhere. And even better that the game saves if you were to disconnect, and no matter at what time, when you get back in the game, you can continue. Perfect 5/5

Too many ads. I don't mind ads on free games but every two plays is ridiculous. DELETED after first game.

Weird game.

I love it and me and my girlfriend have a blast with it, but I would like a way for us to play online against each other. If that isn't too much to ask

This game is fun and all but soooo buggy. Keeps crashing like every time and this game is rigged. So if I hit one ship at a time it will be cool but as soon as I start hitting like 3 ships at once then the computer automatically knows where I am. That's just stupid.

It fun and all but it Stupid that you can't put your own Fleet : | And please respect to the movie. Which I hated
