Use to be a great app. No longer syncs with devices, and I have lost data. Would no longer recommend. Looking for a replacement.

Wife and I need to sync out phones to balance checkbook. This app used to when we first purchased. Now sync connects to phones but doesn't change a thing. This is not what we purchased!!

Very handy and accurate. I like that you can create your own expense categories and the graph is very useful.

Used to love it but now it's not syncing between mine and my husband's phones. Been waiting MONTHS for an update.

Very frustrated tonight. I have had this app for my iPad for quite sometime. I recently put it on my iPhone with the intent for them to talk to each other. Perhaps I misunderstood after "connecting to iCloud" for quite sometime...I lost everything on my iPad. Near as I can tell is it took the nothing from my iPhone and erased my iPad.

Just got a new iPad and this app hasn't opened since I downloaded it. This app worked fine on my old iPad and works great on my iPhone 4S.

Easy way to keep track of you money. The pie-chart is a marvelous feature to see where you spend your money. Only complaint is that is a tad slow.

It does not work as it says it would at all. It wont connect or sync to icloud at all. Garbage. Please fix the issues

I have this App on all my Devices. When I installed it on my Mac Pro Xeon, it would not open. That was fixed, but now the App on my iPad will not Sync with iCloud even though all the other Devices Sync fine. iPhone, MacBook Pro, Mac Pro… Just NOT the iPad. Deleted re-installed tried everything. Nothing will make the iPad Sync! This is messing with my head at this point and I read someplace (The Verg I think), that this issue is NOT with the App but with iCloud on Apple's side. I just wish there was some kind of feedback as to a resolution between the Developers and Apple on this situation.. I still think this is a great App and the developers have always answered my emails. I gave it 5 Stars because all in all it does what it does great. Also, check out their outer App (Money with Sync) this does work on all my devices, But I like the layout of Checkbook HD a little better!

App fails to sync with iCloud not matter what you do. iPhone and ipad can only sync via Bluetooth, which rarely worked. All my data has been erased. Listen to the other reviews DO NOT PURCHASE!

So I no longer use iCloud sync and voila the Bluetooth sync feature won't sync my iPad and iPhone...garbage.

I reduced my stars from 4 to 2. I just could not overcome the apps inability to time-out. When working between multiple apps logging in every time is a huge hang up I just can't overcome. Absent this, the app is very good.

I had about an entire years worth of info here for both my personal & business account. The iCloud was working fine syncing everything between my iPad and iPhone since my wife uses it as we'll. I decided to pull it up on my phone and the iCloud took about 45 minutes to load (really?!) and when it finally loaded, everything was erased! I went to my iPad to recover the back-up and when it connected to iCloud, it erased everything on the iPad too! Realizing I lost everything, I decided to reinstall it. My iPhone 4S won't sync via iCloud and now my iPad won't open it. Tried several times. FIX THE ICLOUD SYNC = review change FIX THE IPAD CAPABILITY = Rating change Uninstalling and using another app until its fixed.

There's nothing redeeming about it. It crashes constantly. It doesn't synch with the OSX version (hangs up with the circle-of-death). You can only add payees from a drop-down list (vs. just typing a store's name in). That means you have to access an unwieldy edit menu just to enter the business name. Then, you still have to return to the transactions menu and pick the payee from the drop-down (Try doing that quickly while standing at the register or in front of the ATM). There's nothing quick or convenient about using this app.

I use this for my business and personal accounts and it does the job. Sure there are some extras I would like to see like more icons, the ability to group different categories for the year for tax purposes, but overall this app helps keep my checkbook balanced to the penny.

Love it except after one of the last updates, sometimes when I open it, the iCloud spins but just sits on a blank screen. I have to kill the app and wait a couple minutes to restart then it works fine. Other than that, awesome app!

iCloud feature does not work

I like the app, but iCloud sync doesn't always work. I always have to re-sync every time I open the app. And for some reason, it always turns off my iCloud sync even though I turn it on.. Frustrating!!

My husband and I use this app to manage the finances between the 2 of us. We sync every couple of days and I check with the checking account weekly. It makes life so much easier! I love that I can track checking, savings, kids accounts, I even use it to pay off balances of 0% interest. I track cash for my kids, and easily transfer from one account to the next! It takes the questions out of how much money do we have, and when is that autopay happening? Very pleased! Thank you!!

I don't use iCloud. Need more icons or the ability to use our own. When I stick a new group in a parent category I expect it to go under that category. I noticed that its separating these when they should be in a group. To solve this problem have it show up as *for example food and then be able to click on food to see where you have been. Not split it up.

This is a good app, but I also am having the same problems with not being about to connect to iCloud. If this is fixed, it can be a great app between all my devices.

Now it stinks. Won't sync between devices, tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Nope. Bad product. Won't sync between iPhone 4S and iPad 1 over Bluetooth.

Worst app ever. Do not buy. Will not sync with iCloud and if you chose to attempt to use this feature it makes the app unusable. Was totally ripped off on this purchase.

I have an iMac, iPhone & iPad2 and installed both iOS and OSX versions. Sync using OSX works, however syncing on iOS on iPhone and iPad results in "unchecking" of box for iCloud and a message saying "You are not using ICloud". This app is useless when you cannot sync information between home and mobile units.

It makes it easier to keep track of my accounts on the go. And it's so customizable. I wish it would recognize that I've already written a review and rated it so it wouldn't bombard me with a review request almost every time I open the app up. More category icons would be very useful too. Also, I think that the decimal point in the amount should automatic, like an ATM, it would make things much quicker and easier. UPDATE: WHY DOES MY BALANCE CHANGE TO SOMETHING DIFFERENT EVERY TIME I OPEN THE APP? THAT BASICALLY DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF BALANCING YOUR CHECKBOOK. THE APP WAS NEAR PERFECT UNTIL RECENTLY. PLEASE FIX THE ISSUES, OTHERWISE I'M SURE PEOPLE WILL START USING ONE OF THE MANY OTHER OPTIONS OUT THERE. MY RATING FOR YOU WENT FROM 5 STARS TO 2 STARS. I'M QUITE ANNOYED.

Be very careful with the cloud sync...you're data is vulnerable to destruction as it stands now. This used to work great, and I'll give a few more weeks for an updated fix, but if it doesn't arrive very soon I'll be finding new software. Good luck IT guys!

This app was fantastic until a couple days ago. I was syncing my I phone and I pad via cloud. I was also using direct connect for my credit card. I sat down at the first of the month and imputed everything for feb ( took about 3 hours), went back a few days later and it had all disappeared from both my devices. I followed the directions given to me by support and then re imputed everything again. Then bam it was all gone again! Today I spent the entire day trying to get it to work like before, once again inputting everything! I give up!!! Now i need to find a new checkbook app and input everything from jan 1 in, because the csv export exports to i toons and i have no idea how to retrieve it from i toons....it is a bummer because the app was very good and I really liked it till now :(

When this app worked & synced between my ipad & iPhone correctly it was wonderful. I don't know what happened,but since the last update I can no longer sync the app between devices which makes it virtually useless for me. Horrible!!! If you want an app to use on multiple devices don't waste your money on this until they fix this issue!

When opening app,all I get is the app continually searching for something.this was a good app until today.

I was looking for something different for the iPad to keep track of expenses, and a good checkbook style app. This fits my needs. It is easy to keep track of multiple accounts. I believe you will like it. Update 3/6/13. This is no longer a functioning app. It is best to turn off iCloud sync, and use it as a stand alone basic check book app on one device. It takes forever to connect, and the balance between devices does not match. I do not know what the problem is. This was a good app once. Going back to another app that will sync to all my iDevices.

Horrible app. Never syncs and crashes non stop. Deleting of all my devices. All the other current reviews cover my complaints. Nice to know I'm not the only one.

used to be a great app, now all it does is work for a few weeks. the last update literally screwed up everything I had. Finally got it working and connected to my bank, now it crashes every time I try to open it. I delete it, reinstall, and still it's crashing. Can't even get The first screen I stay on screen, and have lost all my information. When are you going to fix this for good. There is no way for us to get to support. No one cares. U had a good thing, but something went wrong. not worth the money spent for it.

It won't sync via iCloud. It simply doesn't work on the iPad, or sync. I'm not sure if some data has been lost. You were good, hopefully you will be again.

I only use the app on a single device, and now my data is gone! As another reviewer said, this needs to be fixed!

This app worked great with sync about 4 updates ago. Doesn't sync properly with or without iCloud. They need to offer refunds for ALL devices. So disappointing.

ICloud has not been fixed nothing but problems syncing between two devices lost all my data yesterday don't know where to start don't know how much money I have or don't have

Suggestion: Use Dropbox instead of iCloud, it just doesn't sync properly on all devices..which is the feature that I actually have paid for my mac And iPhone/iPad. Please consider.

Have been using this this app for a couple of years and paid for the full version. The only major gripe is the the Payee list. It lets you add payees, but it doesn't alphabetize or let you search. It's just a list you add to, so you have to search and search. Either alphabetize the list or let me type and do the auto complete like every search engine on the planet. It's been like this for too long and I'm not the only one with this complaint. I also can't figure out where my exported transaction spreadsheet ends up in ITunes. I hate iTunes so I'm sure it's my fault. Other than this, the app is great.

The app was one of the best in this category but the iCloud sync is a disaster. Please fix ASAP!!!!!!!!! Will be 5 stars one fixed.

This application has become absolutely worthless! And it would appear unsupported. Sync has not worked for almost 2 months. Initially there were updates, each one making the problem worse. Now, nothing. Garbage!!

I have been unable to update my checkbook for weeks due to the lack of support for this problem ridden application. The iCloud sync issue has been experienced by many users and mentioned in many reviews. FIX IT!! I would give this application a negative rating if possible.

I used to love this app. Now since using iCloud this app Does NOT work! I spent money on this for my iPhone / iPad and my Mac. I am so DISAPPOINTED with this app crashing, info not syncing correctly, and not being able to access my information 80% of the time. Come on out with an update that actually works, till then people beware DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!!!

I have used since this over 1 year and finally decided to switch to a different app. Do not buy this unless you want to waste time and get frustrated. It works for a few weeks and then breaks for a week and repeat this process each month.

Again the sync doesn't work. Looking for a new app that is a simple checkbook register with sync.
