Teaching children how to not only recognize an emotion on ones face, but to also recognize what someone might be feeling in a situation (empathy) are great skills to teach all children. I found this app to not only do just that, but the photos of real kids and adults along with real life situations for them to depict was someone might be feeling is a major plus for this app. Having an app that starts with the most basic of skills and then continues on a hiearchy is another plus for this app. Very customizable. Worth the purchase.

This app is very simple and very limited functionality. Not worth spending.

This a great app!

I like the varying levels, but I hate kid "games" that don't show you the correct answer when you guess wrong (or let you guess again, even if it's technically marked as incorrect). **This is how all their apps work.** Also, surprise and scared seem to look a lot alike, though they never appeared on the same screen (yet?) so I guess that's good. Overall a neat app but it's not perfect.

Understanding emotions is an important skill to have for everyone.

Simple, clean and real pictures. Positive reinforcement and summary page are helpful.

This is an inexpensive app that I can use to teach my child about emotions. I love that it uses real pictures, not cartoons, and that there are many levels.

Great tool to practice emotions. The kids really like it!

I love this app and so do my clients with social language deficits. I finally have found a great app that can be used in therapy as a teaching tool -not just a game. The scenarios are great and are something I have not found in any other apps. I like that the pictures are real people and not cartoons. I also like that the update includes the option of having the questions and answers read aloud. I use this for listening comprehension as well.

As a parent I really value this app for the opportunity it offers me to interact with my child at home.

This is a great app! Easy to use, love the real images and the audio feedback is great for the kids. This will be a great tool to use.

As an SLP, I love that it has a variety of levels. It is hard to find an app that includes a variety of scenarios and real life pictures. It also makes it very easy to take data and measure progress.

Very nice. I like the varied levels. However, some pictures are overly theatrical and do not look realistic.
